I'm glad I didn't get hurt too! It certainly was an awful time to choose to go out for a walk.
It's funny, but right now, I just sort of feel... happy. Incredibly happy. I can't stop smiling. I don't recommend brushes with death, but I think I am really really glad to be alive right now, and that's just a pretty good feeling.
And thanks for the reminder about TOS! I'll send off my funny-shaped acorn thing next week or something so it'll be nice and spread out. And I'm glad Brocklehurst was for it, because being in her own house and all, I could see why she might be a bit iffy. I mean, it's funny when she pops on every now and then and says something random, but I sometimes think people in her own house get a bit annoyed with her because she's like that all the time. But that's just the way she is, right?
It still is awful how Brown treats her. I mean, say what you will about the Strettons, at least Jeremy talks to Sally-Anne. And sticks up for her every now and then. And treats her like a person.
