I didn't see you at lunch so I dunno if you're still sleeping off the Dreamless or whatever, but I just wanted to tell you that I'm really glad you're not hurt. I couldnt
I came in late but I thought I heard Professor Sinistra saying they were going to put off the afternoon trials so that you and Marvolo and Malfoy wouldn't miss them.
Though that probably doesn't seem terribly important right now, in comparison to being alive.
Speaking of unimportant things (because it's often cheering for some reason), I sent off the first clue to Lovegood for Teatime of the Strange.
I've been talking to Brocklehurst a bit this week, and it sounds like Lovegood might have a friend in her, or at least someone who doesn't actively try to wind her up.
Although, if I were Lovegood I'd be hoping like mad that Brown and the Patils all get into the summer programme.

Date: 2011-06-16 09:25 pm (UTC)It's funny, but right now, I just sort of feel... happy. Incredibly happy. I can't stop smiling. I don't recommend brushes with death, but I think I am really really glad to be alive right now, and that's just a pretty good feeling.
And thanks for the reminder about TOS! I'll send off my funny-shaped acorn thing next week or something so it'll be nice and spread out. And I'm glad Brocklehurst was for it, because being in her own house and all, I could see why she might be a bit iffy. I mean, it's funny when she pops on every now and then and says something random, but I sometimes think people in her own house get a bit annoyed with her because she's like that all the time. But that's just the way she is, right?
It still is awful how Brown treats her. I mean, say what you will about the Strettons, at least Jeremy talks to Sally-Anne. And sticks up for her every now and then. And treats her like a person.
