Thanks, Pansy.

It felt really, not good exactly because I'm not sure I'm ready to feel good again, but, I dunno, satisfying I guess, to just lose myself in the music for awhile.

And to get away from everyone and sit down by the lake where you can at least pretend that things are peaceful.

But the music in my head keeps going to a murder ballad place, no matter how much I try to listen to other things. I even put on some Playing Quidditch with Hags, in honour of Han. And still, there's "Beware of Long Lankin" over and bloody over again.

Sorry--didn't mean to go on at you.

yeah. I can get in a bit of a rut too sometimes, with the really sad songs. The one about the little lost ghost by the Straubs makes me cry every time, just hearing the first few notes. And I'll listen to some records over and over when I'm sad, or angry. I like to think it's sort of like giving my head a chance to wrap itself around what happened, because it can get too big for me to just sit down and feel, so I let the song feel it for me instead, because it's safer. You know? because someone else is saying it for me.

I'm glad we got a chance to just sit too. And work on a song that's more about the good and sad bits of things instead of the scary or awful parts. It was nice.

And Carrow is totally like Long Lankin.

I'm so glad we won't have to see his face at school next term.

I wish we didn't have Mrs Professor Carrow either.
